Celebrating 12 years of volunteering for the MATE Texas Regional ROV Competition
Concluding another successful project in collaboration with the #OrbitalLearningAlliance teachers in LATAM, the Aviation Youth Mentoring Program and the Mars Innovation Challenge where students will be participating in a competition to have a chance to present their project in the Humans to Mars Summit 2024 and their project to be featured in the NFT video game Thrive on Mars Thanks to the hundred of students that participated in this learning experience powered by their mentors. In February 2024, we presented 11 projects at Space Center Houston together with great international and interdisciplinary teams. The @chipohm team presented two sessions on the development of a new type and system of hydrorocket with a timer that releases a load during the flight path. Our guest speaker, Dr. Fernando De La Peña blew us away with his insights on the current and future applications of holograms merged with artificial intelligence across various industries. What a privilege to have had an amazing special guest, Ana Cristina Olvera from Space to Ground, NASA en Español, joined us for two bilingual presentations at the Space Exploration Educators Conference! Our incredible team all the way from San Luis Potosí presented a program on building SLS hydro-rockets and even showcased two rockets built by students. Today we finished the training process for the Department's First NASA Club, it is a great initiative and we have had international guests □ We have learned about the importance of believing that we can do new things, we managed to INSPIRE about 200 children, including villages such as Pirgua and Florencia. □From the Family and Parenting with Love Strategy, the Secretary for Women, Gender Equity and Social Development and the Mayor's Office of Tunja will continue working to continue INSPIRING our children and adolescents. □
